Chris Allison
Chris Allison, an original member of the Sports Radio 1410 KGSO team, moved to Wichita in 2005 to help deliver 24-Hour Sports Talk Radio to the Air Capital. Allison started his radio career in 1989 at KSAL in Salina. His career includes three years as the sideline reporter for Kansas State football (2002-2004). He also captured the Oscar Stauffer Sportscaster of the Year award in 2001 and 2002, awarded by the Kansas High School Activities Association. He is also a Kansas Association of Broadcasters Award winner. Allison enjoys hosting "The Gameplan" weekday mornings on KGSO, providing play-by-play of football games, hosting "Shocker Soundoff" and "The Gene Stephenson Show," along with his duties as sales manager at KGSO. Chris and his wife, Reba, have seven children (Derek, 19; Andrew, 17; Faith, 15; Amari, 6; Chloe, 5; Ean, 3; and Emmi 1).
